Clarke vs Asimov

Sir Arthur Charles Clarke or better known as Arthur C. Clarke was born on December 16, 1917. Is a British writer and inventor. Author of works of popular science and science fiction.

initial Many of his stories revolve around a scientific frame, decorating with a surprising ending. It addresses most of his works with a tone usually aseptic no frills or artifice, leaving the ideas that are locked to keep the attention of the reader. This style is only broken to allow fine degree of humor developed.
As for his issues revolve around two fundamental ideas: optimism for the benefits of scientific progress (as noted in an era of a disappointment after the release of atomic bombs), and species and cultures meet higher (always in a very paternalistic).

Some works include:
  • Prelude to Space (1951)
  • 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
  • Back to Titan (1975)
  • 2010: Odyssey Two (1982)
  • The world is one (1992)
  • 3001: Final Odyssey (1996)

His style is lucid and as a popularizer fun, competing with other science-fiction writer who also stands as a science writer Isaac Asimov. So far

information, but it is interesting to investigate in that last statement, because for much comparison is made Asimov does not reach the scientific literature of Clarke, or rather, Clarke is much more interesting and entertaining to read. Applies, of course, that both are great writers, but the second is given a bit in the shadow of Asimov.

In any case, it opens the debate, was well received any support or rebuttal.
