today's tribute is for a group that broke away just two years old:
Platero y Tú was founded in Bilbao in the 80's. Were Juatxu e Iñaki "Uoho" the first who started rehearsing together, after the dissolution of his former band, Ke , and later joined Maguila the tests as a battery. One day Juantxu invited Fito, a neighbor, to the site to see one of the trials, and it finally became part of the group as voice and guitar.
In 1995, at the peak of his career, and a tour with Extremoduro , record which was perhaps his best album and one of the best live English: A hair. This album is a reference of the rock'n roll along with another of his studio recording: There is little rock'n roll.
This was the way for nearly 25 years for the whole English territory, until, within four months of the tour of 2001 (because of his latest album, Post ), were separated. Since then has continued Fito Fito & Fitipaldis , Uoho becomes part of Extremoduro definitely, alternating with his work as producer of many other groups, and Magilla Juantxu are Flu .
And although most likely not return to play together again, Platero and you will never die.
That's the way I see them or so.
